This is jean, the first mixed race baby i have been reading the many comments. The main thing is we have all been reunited, and the love and sense of knowing who you are is the important thing. I have since found my bio father who is nigerian not Jamaican. now i know who i am and have found peace. It would make an amazing film. Also just to say my mother kathleen senior had a traumatic childhood. As john lennon said all we need is love❤

My sister was given for adoption when my mom was 19, because of lack of family support or support from my sister's dad. She was 13 years older than me and I always fantasized that she would walk in and be my new teacher. 😂 She found us when she was 24 and I was 11. She looks just like my mom (which I do not, I look like my dad). It was incredible. She had a great life. ❤

My mom gave a child up for adoption when she was 19, after the dad went into the military and my grandparents didn't accept that she wanted to keep the baby. Lisa (my sister) found us when I was 11 and she was 24. She looks exactly like my mom. It was wonderful. Before we met I always dreamed of meeting her.

"The Chosen". Yes! My two little sisters were adopted. They both have downs syndrome. I would totally have chosen them to be my sisters again. ❤ They made me who I am. They're in their mid 30s now. The sweetest girls I've ever met.

This is so interesting because in my country when our fallen soldiers are found they are always brought to the cemetery of their hometown and there we have special place for those fallen in the wars. Then again it's easier because our wars were fighted in our own land or neighbouring countrys land and most of the dead were brought back right away even when the situations were bad. They had a saying "Never leave a brother behind" and it was those that were alive, wounded and dead alike.
